Why do factories need ESD anti-static access control systems?
Why should industrial production enterprises install ESD access control systems? In fact, each of us will generate more or less static electricity, but some people have high static electricity, and some people have low static electricity. And most electronics factories involve electronic components. The electrostatic voltage that the human body can feel in daily life will exceed 2-4kv. If the static electricity carried on our body comes into contact with IC components, almost all ICs will be damaged. In addition, static electricity will attract dust, change the resistance of the line, seriously affect its service life, and more seriously, produce substandard products. If there is no corresponding protective measures in the work, a batch of waste products will be produced, which will bring huge losses to the enterprise.
Static electricity is always there. So how can we prevent it? Generally, some manufacturers will provide anti-static clothing, shoes, gloves, hats and other products. However, the antistatic ability of this product will decrease over time. So how do I know if my anti-static equipment is effective and whether it can be replaced in time? ESD access control system can solve this kind of problem.
What are the working modes of ESD anti-static access control system?
ESD access control system is divided into three modes, each mode is different.
Method 1: Off-line ESD anti-static access control system (three roller gates, wing gates, swing gates, electronic gates and other equipment can be used). Electrostatic testers can directly conduct electrostatic test items without swiping cards. After the test is successful, the access door is opened to enter the workshop. There is no access control card swiping test record query, and the flow speed is fast.
Method 2: Networked ESD access control system (three roller gates, wing gates, swing gates, electronic gates and other equipment can be used) The static electricity management software first registers the registered employee information and the corresponding static electricity detection items (name, department, testing items: only try hands, Only try shoes, exempt VIP card, etc.).
The tester swipes the registration card at the anti-static gate, and then conducts the test according to the select test item. If the test is successful, the door will be opened to enter the workshop, and if the test is unsuccessful, the door will not be opened (replace the electrostatic shoes or electrostatic wristband according to the result of the unqualified test item). The PC management software can record the entry and exit time, channel, test item, test result, tester name, department, etc.
Method 3: Networked ESD anti-static access control system + LCD display screen (three-roller gates, wing gates, swing gates, electronic doors and other equipment can be used) The LCD display is integrated on the basis of the networked ESD access control system. After swiping the card, information such as name, card number, event detection item, and result can be displayed.
Manufacturers can choose any of the above three modes to let all personnel who need to enter the production workshop pass through the gate of the anti-static access control system with the static tester. When the personnel test item exceeds a certain resistance, the pedestrian gate will prompt the test to fail, refuse to pass, and require a retest. In addition, the card must be swiped at the same time in order to generate records, review suspicious persons or deny access to the workshop, to ensure production and quality of products.
